Mark Segal, MD – Board Certified Anesthesiologist.
I received my Medical License from The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona and did my residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School Boston, Massachusetts.
Helen Turnage – Office Manager
I have been with The Facial Surgery Center for over a year, after having been a Navy wife for 23 years. I have my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Economics and Accounting. I assist Dr. Hochman with the business side of the practice and manage the staff.
Brooke Nitterhouse – RN
I am a registered nurse with bachelor’s degrees in both nursing and psychology, as well as a licensed esthetician. Here at The Facial Surgery Center, patient care is my number one priority. I oversee the clinical portion of the practice as well as facilitate surgeries with Dr. Hochman both here and at other regional hospitals.
Penny Bouvette – Patient Consultant
I have been with the Facial Surgery Center for almost 3 years. I have worked closely with Dr. Hochman as his Patient Consultant for Cosmetic Surgery. I provide free and confidential consults designed to answer your surgery questions.
Marilyn Flack – Incoming Call Coordinator
I am a retired School teacher and have been with The Facial Surgery Center for 3 years. I answer most calls and direct callers to the appropriate staff member. I also file medical records, assemble charts, get new patient packages together. I assist the front office in scheduling, insurance and payments.
Gloria Barnette – PA
I graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995 with honors from the bachelors in the Physician Assistant program. I joined Dr. Hochman in 2008 relocating from Atlanta, Georgia, where I associated with a national medical spa. I am the medical staff provider for several locations providing medical services to include Botox and fillers. I am also the National Clinical Director for the corporate office.
Louis Storen – Bookkeeper
I am responsible for the financial accounts for The Facial Surgery Center and The Hemangioma Treatment Foundation. In addition, I handle the payroll function for the two businesses.
Chris Grimes – Patient Financial Services Coordinator
I started working at the Facial Surgery Center in July 2007. I have been working in the field of Medical Billing/Collections since 1998. I am responsible for all medical claims and keeping patient accounts balanced.
Tichka Mack – Surgical Tech
I have an Applied of Science Degree in Surgical Technology. I have 4 years experience at Roper St. Francis CVOR, which has allowed me to work with some of Charleston’s Best Surgeons. At The Facial Surgery Center I assist Dr. Hochman with all of his procedures which has given me an opportunity to work closer with patients on a personal level.
LeAnne Decker – Image Consultant
I have over 21 years of education and experience in Aesthetics and Skin Care. During my years in Aesthetics I have trained with many physicians, nutritionists, massage therapists, and herbalists. Our Practice would like to invite you to come in and meet with me for a complimentary image consultation!
